- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★The gnocchi. That's all I have to say. Easily the best in town. I make it a point to eat gnocchi as often as I can, and none I've tasted have come close to these. Light and fluffy just like they're supposed to be. Mcewan is known for them in Toronto, and I can confirm that the Root's are definitely better! Tomato sauce is also really good and tastes homemade.
